The zoo is inspired by the story of Noah’s Ark and most of the zoo’s animals are the ones that influence Bible stories. From this point we drew inspiration and created a design that tells the story of the animals gathered in pairs to the ark. The desert colors represent the character of the Jerusalem environment.
The design was done as part of an academic project in collaboration with Julia Bezogli and Liel Kreisman.
Zoo Signs
The design translates the story of Noah's Ark in a visual way, presenting the animals gathered in pairs to the ark.
All designs are based on a binary logic: The signs of the enclosures show two animals, two shapes are set off against each other, the colors are divided into two shades.
